Felt and combination felt/rubber underlays have long been favoured by specifiers for the longevity they provide. Tredaire / Duralay Kensington Deluxe has been a favourite for some time, but newer products such as Knightsbridge Supreme and Red Velvet have better thermal insulation and sound reduction properties.
